Subject: Prop Hopping when parented to clothing vs. figure

Poser 2014 Pro Just wondering... I parented a prop to clothing (CHEST) a figure was wearing. It moved as soon as I parented it. Undid that, then parented prop to figure's (CHEST). Stayed perfectly where I placed it. Just wondering why this would occur.

The clothing is conforming, and "probably" would be better if the prop moved with the clothing rather than the figure. is this normal?

I guess it depends on the prop...is it rigid like a sword or a shield. then its better to parented to figure. If is meant to be part of the clothing say a pocket or patch then it would be better to just change the texture map with with an image editor.

Thanks, I should probably have done that to the texture map. Thank you.
