Welcome Chris and thank you for the nice words one thing I am sure of is if you want to get your feet wet in Blender we have some of the best knowledgeable members right here. In all honesty everything I have learned about Blender started right from this very forum and it gave me the drive to seek out more answers and knowledge along the way.

Greetings and felicitations to all Blender Users here at Renderosity!
I thought I'd take a few moments to announce a change here and introduce myself.
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Chris and I've been asked to take over as Moderator from our friend and colleague Lobo who has at this time chosen to unshackle himself from the siren chains of Renderosity and take a very well-earned and well-deserved break.
I hope you'll bear with me while I take a few to find my feet and perhaps get to know you, and while I'm no expert in matters Blender, I do have it installed on my machine and will be making efforts to learn just what it can do. In the meantime, please feel free to site mail me at any time if you have a problem or just wish to say Hi!
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Lobo for all his hard work and I'm sure you'll join me in wishing him all the very best for the future.
