Came across this interesting article and tutorial that I am sure would interest some of you who do work on hard surface modeling and this might give you a new way to work with your hard surfaces

Thanks Lobo that was a very a kool article. He was doing some very interesting things with the modifier. Especially like how he used multiple instances of the modifier all at once.

I have tried to do something like that before, but the key as he said is excluding some vertexes from the rest. I could never get the vertex groups quite right.
