If you're considering upgrading Windows to version 10 and have Zbrush installed be aware there is a potential problem of losing your ZB license (also applies to any add-on apps like Keyshot). Pixologic are saying they are working on an update. If you need to upgrade to Win 10 see the Pixologic support website before starting the process.

As its not documented on their web site thought it might be useful to anyone having similar issues to put the steps I took to fix, this could be very specific to the PC so no guarntee it will work for everyone.

  1. Zbrush crashed whilst attempting to re-activate plugin - solution was to update graphics drivers (have AMD 57xxx)

  2. Unable to connect to licensing server to activate plugin key (Internet connection working ok) - Deactive and reinstalled Zbrush

I didn't try just re-activating ZB, so maybe worth trying that before going for the full reinstall

Hmmm, I just loaded up ZBrush and a project I was working on before the upgrade it was fine.  I run an NVIDIA card and the drivers are up to date. 

Hope you get it resolved....
