**Q: I am trying to Install a DAZ product, but I get an error message saying "Error reading INI... dzInstall.ini.". How can I fix this?** A: Use a text editor to create a blank file named "dzInstall.ini", and save it in the location where the installer is looking for the file. When saving the file make sure that the 'Save as Type' is set to be 'All Files', otherwise the editor might add a '.txt' extension to the end of the file name. See [ this link]( for more information. The same solution applies when a DAZ installer reports that it can't find 'Poser.exe'. This might be because your Poser installation uses a file named 'PoserPro.exe'. Just create a blank file named 'Poser.exe' in the same folder as the 'PoserPro.exe', or in any folder that you want to use as the root for the installation.
