I'm beginning to work with V4 + weight-mapped Sasha-16 again ...

Ran through 30 extreme poses from halcyone without breaking the rig or mesh, although some arm/hand adjustments had to be made. The pose set is "Jujitsu for V4." There's a sale today on it in the Rendo marketplace.

I would bet these poses would work with any weight-mapped model, including La Femme.

You know, halcyone is marketing those poses for normal V4.2. I didn't try them on a stock V4, but I wonder if they would succeed.

They do work with plain ol V4, but they also come with moprh injection/removal specific for each pose to tweak the problem areas.

I see.

Most V4 poses work well with LaFemme. You just have to adjust the feet because V4's feet are slanted downward in her zero'd pose, so a flat foot has them at around -22 or so. This makes LaFemme's feet bend upward. It's not a big deal. Just tweak them and render away...

How nice, I have a question is there any way to inject Sasha's morphs into a created V4 character?

bwldrd ( ) posted Mon, 20 May 2019 at 12:52 PM · edited Mon, 20 May 2019 at 12:59 PM

Doubtful.

Actually while Karina may have some JCMs added to Sasha .. She is rather her own cr2 with a lot of ERC, scaling, new/improved Weight mapping and new control bones added to V4 (Simplified breakdown of course, in no way meaning to diminish the ton of work gone into her by Karina) as opposed to injectable morphs.

It would probably be a lot easier to save your V4 character as an injection and load that onto sasha, than the other way round. :)

P.S. Please note when I say ERC I'm meaning also poser dial dependancies etc.

I agree with bwldrd. Spin up a fundamental Sasha, then click on a pose you saved from your character ... by the way, is your character spun up from V4 Daz morphs, or is it a custom sculpture, etc?

I'm looking forward to being able to make some good teens for my comic. I'm working on the early part of my comic where my protagonist is younger.

She is very versatile that is for sure. But the Sasha add-on will make her like a genesis figure. She'll become 1000x more useful as a figure (I hope).

Sure, I gave Sasha V1 a try last month. But there were compatibility issue with the base figure I am using and I didn't have the time to fix them all. I was impressed by the great number of morphs. So I will try the new figure asap and this time do it more seriously.

Hello @yarp!

Sorry to hear you had compatibility issues. Would you mind to come over to SASHA's forum and describe your problems in a new thread there? http://sasha-16.forumprofi.de/f25-b-u-DISCUSSION-u-b.html

I'm sure we can find a solution.

Cheers!

Hi Karina, sure it would be fair. In a word it was a nipple problem. I will tell more about this on your forum.
