Hi.   I have Carpal Tunnel and a vertical mouse is a great help.

However, I can't get it to track. MMB only tumbles. How can I

fix this?   Thanks!   ~S.~

I can't think of much option in Maya preferences to correct this, but I'd venture that the mouse driver must have some priority over maya and that it disregards the ALT key when you press the MMB. There might be some settings window to change this mouse behavior, and/or to set up the fourth and fith buttons ("thumb buttons" I beleive they're called) so that when you use one of these in a specific application it can actually send the equivalent of ALT+MMB to that app/Maya, hence a making of of these a "track camera button".

If that still doesn't resolve this, and you'd like to kept using this mouse, I'd suggest having a look at autohotkey. It can very easily do what I just mentionned (and more) about using the 4th/5th button as substitute, and I've not found a mouse yet that it cannot control.

Hope that helps a bit.
