Been to this forum several times now in the past couple weeks, and I see the same threads, and only a few additional responses each time.  Wonder why this forum isn't more active.  There seems to be quite a few Max users on the site.  Oh well, maybe it will pick up in time.

most people post when they want too we cannot make people post in this forum. and there are A LOT more forums out there and Autodesk has it's own forum.  Some people ask just one question and never reply back they into Autodesk community and ask the same question and they get the same reply.

i used to Autodesk community all the time before i had a fight with one of the forum assistance there and other people saying" i was not giving the right advice out" but when they check my answer they found out i was giving the right advice out. Just because they did it one way and i did it another. i was banned too easier from that forum. when numbskulls could report my answer or thread because they did not like the question or answer.

there are also about 4 to 5 regs in this room. maybe you need to take that up with renderosity. and tell them they need more backlinks. and change the sytle of the page. lol

It's not always real active, but occasionally it is (unlike the Poser and Photography forums which are really active). As far as 3dsMax is concerned, most of the activity is in the gallery.

Can I read notes?  Hell, there ain't no notes to a banjo. You just play it.

Hi, Jeff.  Thanks for replying.  Yes, I noticed the galleries are quite active, and there's a lot of great works.  I could do without all of the scantily-clad poser ads that appear on almost every page, but I understand the need to make money as well.

Could you ever imagine a Poser Forum without the scantily clad?

It's a pornographers delight and that's about it.

If ever there was a piece of software whose outcome was/is so easily recognised, well I've never come across one.

Has a Poser character ever been rendered without being instantly recognised as another Poser figure?

Yay for Max and individuality. The requirements for learning Max are definitely worth working at even if we all go quite looney doing it !
