"Everyone is a winner" is a nice sentiment, but in this arena, just as with Highlanders... Thar cahn bee oonly wun!

This week, that winner is GregerE! Simon likes the sturdy portability and now he can watch movies as well!

Thank-you everyone. A very honerable mention goes to the other two entries. EHNisja gets points for the mad scrollwork and arlivre's entry of a completly flexible OLED device is very forward-thinking and not anything I personally would have thought of!

Hope everyone enjoyed themselves, and it's a shame Simon didn't get to taste the fruits of Perfectude's labour as well.

Congratulations to Greger....

Congratulations to you GregerE! Well done.

Let me explain my choice if you will... Honestly it was a close match between Greger and arlivre. What tipped the scales is that arlivre's device, while cool, would get totally destroyed being carried about in Simon's pocket all day! And EHNisja's scrollwork.. Just had to give you points for the model itself! Marvellous! I feel like a heel not picking that one because of the obvious effort. But unfortunately it was the total opposite of what Simon wanted. Ie. modern, portable and not an iPod. )c:

No need to explain your choice UnitSeven. I should read and understand your requests better.   "..., but with one caveat: No iPods."

I got hungup on the "trendy" part of the request for model and didn't give it a second thought that in fact I was doing an IPod! None the less, I learned a great deal from this model and that is all that matters in the "Simon Says" challenges.

There are hard feelings on this end! There's always next week.

That's right EHNisja. It's not about winning, but learning, through modeling objects you wouldn't do without Simon. Best Rhino school ever :) Most of my Rhino skills comes from Simon, no doubt.

I must edit my remark from above. It should read "there are NO hard feelings on this end."  (what was I thinking, some sort of Freudian slip?)

The greatest thing about Simon Says is that people from all around the world come here to just play and to have a good honest test of our modeling skills using what Rhino has to offer.

I look forward to this test each week, it has given me many advantages in my work that I would not have had the time to discover otherwise.

@Greger, EHNisja : absolutely :)

By the way, just finished reading "Outliers"

One of the chapters is about the 10 000 hours rule...

To be REALLY good at something that´s the time it takes aprox.

Among other examples The Beatles: huge practice time in Hamburg before becoming famous

A great read...
