I'll go for an old-fashioned villa that's
very common around this parts, 

and still highly popular as new buildts.

Started very simple with surfaced walls. 

I intend to model all the planks, but will 

wait toward the end, as it will give a lot 

of weight to the model.

Now I'm on to the windows and doors.

Looks great so far.  The molding is what really adds weight for me in a house like this.

I have to add, Dan, that this is a house buildt just from wood.. 

Yes, I am talking about the milled wooden molding that goes along the baseboard and around the doors.  Or are houses different there?

The windows are done, and I'll now  place them around the walls.

Wow, that is much larger than I had imagined. You can put mom and mom in law on opposite ends of the house.

This is turning a whole new corner....   The length of the project determined by the amount of details used...  Love these projects...   It is coming out great...
