The winners of the 4th episode of the NES Registered Challenge are:

1st place: #2 AndyWelder with 13 points.
2nd place: #3 Orestes with 9 points.
3rd place: #1 Zaichik with 5 points.

Congratulations to Orestes and Zaichik. Well done!

A special "Thank you!" to doggie96, ppetersen and wholehog for taking the time to vote!

Regarding the Unregistered edition of the NES challenge: There were only two entries, not enough to start a voting thread... Sorry for Zaichik and ppetersen. Because there's no winner there's no terrain for the next Episode but I'll gladly offer to host the .ter files so anyone who's interested can download them. And there's also no next episode.

Regarding the Registered edition:
I plan to put an end to the NES challenges for obvious reasons so the 5th episode will be

The last Episode of the Never Ending Story.

Reality kicked in:
A lack of participants, ditto voters...
Why keep this baby alive?

It all started with a very intense discussion that a lot of members participated in but when it came down to participating only a few really took part.
Especially the Unregistered edition suffered from a lack of entries though in the preliminary discussions it was "demanded" that there would be such an edition....

I'd like to thank Orestes for all the time spent on managing the NES challenges. And of course "Thank you" to those members that did participate by entering/voting.

I learned a thing or two from the challenge worldfiles and I hope other participants did too; wasn't that what the NES challenges were all about?

To inform all members about this I'll post a seperate thread in the forum.
