Forbidden Whispers Magazine 003 Released

Well the waiting is finally, and the work has all been done and we are very pleased to announce the release of the third issue of the Forbidden Whispers Magazine. After some long thinking, and discussions we have decided to change the genres of the magazine as we felt this was hampering our efforts, and was also limiting the type of work that we can showcase for you. Along with a new change of theme, comes a new style of layout. We’re still trying to find that perfect layout which we’re happy with and we think we’re nearly there. So what’s in this issue
you ask?

We have worked even harder for you this issue to bring you some of the best art, from some of the most talented artists. We include Interviews with such great talents as, Mélanie Delon, Joerg Warda, Grzegorz Krysinski, Pascal Blanché and a very in-depth interview with Kheng Teoh, as he talks to us about his work and his techniques. Josh Grafton joins us in his detailed interview, as he tells us about a project he and number of others artists have just embarked on called ‘Angels Fall First’, a mod for the Unreal Tournament 2007. Also we speak to Team Dystopia member Francesco Navarro discusses all with us, he tells the plans they have for the next stage of this ambitious projects.

In our Workshops we showcase an exclusive making of by artist Melanie Delon as she takes us step by step through her haunting painting ‘Lya’. Concept artist Bryan Norton, talks digital colouring. And Neil Jary takes us through his image 'Wet Work.

Amongst all of this we have an interview with our cover artist for the third issue Sebastien Sonet. He tells us "My creatures are part of me. I believe in them, and I try to make people believe too." You can Find out more about Sebastien and his work in his interview in the magazine.

Again, Christina Roberts has very kindly produced yet another free item for your enjoyment. The free item for the third issue is a set of 40 sci-fi materials for your Poser 6 library. Including within the free item is a small tutorial on how to apply and use these textures. We would like to thank Christina for support and kindness she has shown with supplying these free items regularly for you.

We hope you enjoy them.

SNAP Magazine - A product of FW Publishing

My partner and I writing this message as a call out to all the photographers and photomanipulators out there! We wonder if any of you would like to be featured in Issue 1 of a new and uncoming magazine publication called SNAP. The magazine will cover photography and photomanipulation of all genres. We feel photography is a great way of capturing the moment, and feel people deserve a chanceto show their work and have a chance of exposure.

If you would like to see our previous publications please visit this link

FW Publishing is a new publishing company, based in the North West of England in UK. In November this year our magazine was featured in the Artist Accolades.
At present we currently produce a bi-monthly online and printed magazine called Forbidden Whispers, which is focused on presenting some of the best Science-Fiction, Dark and Fetish art, writing and photography. We feel strongly about these genres, as we feel they are not represented to their full extent in other publications. Artists/Writers featured in our past issues consist of Fredy Wenzel, Paul Gerrad, Orietta Rossi, Don Morris, Rafa Casette, and many many more.

However we feel we have more than just these genres to offer the public and we want to move onto other areas. This is where SNAP Magazine comes in.
If you feel you are interested in this project and wish to submit your work please read the submission guidelines below.

Submission Guidelines

Photomanipulators/Photographers may submit a minimum of 3 images, preferably at high resolution.

Under some circumstances we may accept a lower number of minimum images, but please contact us before hand.

The DPI of the image is not that important as we will be producing the magazine at 300DPI and all images will inherit that, but we ask you to upload your images to a minimum of 150DPI. What is important is the size, preferably we'd like images over 2000px wide along the longest edge, which will help us to display high quality images throughout.

We regret we can not accept images which have been blown up badly and are distorted or pixilated.

Please could you also include the following information with your submissions.

Your full name.

Contact E-Mail.

Your URL for your portfolio website if you have one.

Your Artist/Author bio:Please write as little or as much as you would like.We will edit this to fit your pages, but please give us as much detail about yourself and your work as possible.

You may also upload a photograph of yourself for your page. This is optional, and if you would like to make your page more personal please send your photos in a minimum size of 600x600px.

If you feel you have something to offer then please use the links below to contact us.
