So I'm looking at all the shiney things in R'osity's "Wale of a Sale" sale, and made the mistake of telling my fianceé about it. He made me promise not to buy anything, b/c I had already told him before that I would stop buying stuff on-line for Poser and DAZ Studio. He's thinking that I'm addicted to shopping for 3D stuff! (Although there was NO WAY he was talking me out of Lycanthropos.....I am and forever will be a bonified - no pun intended - werewolf fanatic!) I'm having a hard time excercising self-control, but every time I look at the ring he put on my finger I'm reminded of what I need to be saving my hard-earned monies for. *sighs and finishes clearing out her shopping cart*
I am glad though that R'osity and DAZ and several other sites have tons of freebies to download though.:) At least in that way I can fill the need to fatten my runtime. (And, once again, a HUGE "thank you!!!" to everyone who provides us with such wonderful freestuff!)
THE BEST THING!!!!
I had a wonderful, fantastic, fabulous Fourth of July weekend!!!! "Why?", you might ask? Well....*puses for drama and takes a deep breath* I GOT ENGAGED!!! Yes, after 9 years and 8 months my boyfriend got down on one knee and proposed to me at the Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh, PA.:) I can't begin to tell you how happy I am!!! it is a little overwhelming though, as now I'm involved in planning our wedding.(We haven't set a date yet, we're thinking sometime in March or April.) I will be posting pics later of all the awsome photos I took while visiting Pittsburgh! (and our friend John ;) )
*bounces about with glee!*
To Sig or not to Sig, that is the question.....
Question of the day: Should I put a signature/copyright mark on my art? I started off doing so, but I've gotten lazy lately and have not been. What do ya'll recommend and why?
Well, it's about to happen. My youngest brother joined the National Guard last year and just let my mom know a few days ago that he is going to be deployed to Iraq in September. My mom immediately burst into tears, and is having a hard time dealing with it. I personally don't know what to think. It was my brother's decision and I respect him for it, but I worry for his young wife and kids (one is 3 and the other is just under a year old). We will be praying for him constantly, and that he returns home quickly and safely. It's kind of shocking, really.
Posted another picture into my gallery; this time I thought I'd share some of my shots from the Conservatory out in Columbus, Oh.:) This is my favorite photo from the lot - I got lucky on this one!:)
