What shopping cart? Just what information is passed to advertisers? It's no good saying some data, what data? I don't recall seeing any parental guidelines at all in any of the forums, or are these still in progress?

pdblake - we share aggregate data with advertisers in order help them make an informed decision on whether the visitors to Renderosity represent their target demographic. No individual information is ever shared with advertisers or sponsors.

How about telling us which parts have been updated each time you update this? Like a button in front flashing "NEW" or "UPDATED"

Libelous is covered by civil law. "Threatening" is in the mind of the "threatened". Defamatory remarks and "personal attacks" are free speech. While the owner of a site, or publisher of any article has the right of free speech not to publish or release any utterance for any reason whatever, I think that such restrictions inhibit the freedom of expression. Flame wars may be infantile, but not enough to warrant repression. Artists flee from repression and for a site that is dependant on artists, it seems counterproductive to future site growth.

You still have not answered the question as to what information is being passed to advertisers! What is meant by the term "aggregate basis" and what specific information is sent under that discription "aggregate data"? We have the right to know what this means........can you please explain.......thanks for your time.....

Put more of the naughty stuff in the "Poser-X" section since young viewers or certain people should not view it. Thanks

Seems pretty straightforward to me. Thanks for posting this statement, especially the part about user contributions and copyright. I'm with Klaranth on new/updated beacons. Besides, it would be a good feature to offer in easeforum. As far as parental guidelines are concerned, I'm not certain a 16-year-old has the attention span necessary to handle this type of software. B^) Maybe it should simply be a requirement that members are 18; the Onion has no nudity or violent images, but on the basis of textual content alone it discourages minors from accessing it.

Your site Renderosity is fabulous and I find it perfect. It had ALL ! It is fabulous ! ...So,then, PLEASE don't change anything important !!!!! ...I say so because it's usually such a waste and too bad when people want change what they did perfectly before...to try to make it different or "better". And it's generally never as good as before when they do that. _I am so honoured to be a guest-artist on your site, and this site brings such a lot of wonderful & useful, friendship, understanding, sharing and positive stuff, that can never be found nowhere else on the Web for 3d amateurs and professionals! No one was able to build a site like yours before, not only about 3d, but about ANY SUBJECT OR PURPOSE. _I am totally satisfied of Renderosity, and I hope this will last as it is !...Never saw such a good site, no kidding ! I just wish every Website had this Quality ! Cheers. Jean-Pierre Mayet.

I agree with pdblake. What kind of data? Aggregate data? What's that. Also why cookies? I don't linke anyhing being put on my p.c. without my knowledge, as to what it is and what EXACTLY does it do!!!

Thank you for sharing this information with your members. I would like to know if the "cookie" would contain the members credit card information if they should purchase a product from the store.

Re the rule against personal attacks, about time too! In one email group (not about 3D graphics) I have had to routinely wade through several screenfuls of closely-typed flamage and toilet language with no useful information in it at all. Why can't people do things quietly?, e.g.:- X says: "I suspect that Y deleted my image / message about [subject].". Then Y says why did it, or that that he did not do it, or that he moved it to another forum and why, or whatever happened. Then X is allowed to express his opinion, but without calling Y any bad names.

Everybody always speaks about the freedom of expression. Good, it shouldnt be forgotten. But how about some responsibility of expression, huh ?

Personally I am very happy with Renderosity.com, since thanks to the I have known people with a wonderful talent, and for mainly in this brief time that I am in the page (two months ago), I have gotten some friends with those that can share ideas and experiences, he would make if a suggestion, in the possible non serious chat that there was a translator in real time, with the English-Spanish-German-French-Italian-Portuguese languages, that is to say those but spoken, since personally I cannot make chat, I speak very not very English. I am really happy since I can by means of this important page to give to know my works, thank you for all Renderosity.co
