MarketPlace MakeOver

Many of you told us in the member survey that you found the MarketPlace unattractive and difficult to navigate. We listened and made some dramatic changes. Here's a little overview of what you'll find. Layout Changes -Thanks to ToxicAngel for the new graphics. You can now access the new categories from the graphics or links at the top. -At the bottom of the front page you can "warp" to individual categories. MarketPlace Categories - More specifc categories will let you narrow your search. Please bear with us as the work to recategorize older products continue. - You can also see the What's New for each section or resort by "Most Wanted". Product Pages - Has a total new look with the description at the top along with other important product information. - Readme files can now be accessed without purchasing the product first. - New section in the product description created for product requirements. - Shopping cart options are now at the top of page. Wish List - You now have a place to "hold" items that you might want to purchase. Move products from the wish list to shopping cart and back again until you are ready to purchase. Search - Refine your search to title and key words or broaden to include the description too, all at your discretion. Checkout Page -You no longer have to fill out your address multiple times, only update with changes. -The option to put an order on CD was added. Side Navigation Bar Links - Access your shopping cart, individual merchant stores, Top Sellers, Merchandise and Magazine sections under the MarketPlace Logo. We hope you enjoy the MarketPlace! I don't thin the navigational bars at the top flow well, I think they would be better on the side. Which would bring the Warp links up and more viewable. The presentation seems a little vague ... there is no product recognition, like Poser, Bryce, etc. I also think artist's pages looked better with the contact info at the bottom rather than the top and the bottom

I check out New Items every time I log into Renderosity. Make purchases every 2-4 weeks, as my shopping cart fills up. I thought there were a lot of great features before, but you've added several major improvements. I LOVE the new "Wishlist" feature especially. The new page layout is taking a while to get used to, but I expect I'll like it even better once I've become accustomed to it. (I probably spend a lot more time checking out new products than the average member). Several of the improvements are close enough to what I've suggested in the past, that I'm pleased they made enough sense to be put into effect. Overall; - Kudo's to the Marketplace team!

Wow, no more broken picture links! Plus the idea of a wish list is great. I use a wish list on another site I visit and feel it's a great idea. Keep up the good work. You may want to do something about the top links though, just seems... dunno. ^_^

Site 'catagory' listing needs to come back under the products, without it it makes browsing users stores, as well as searches hard to tell what items for what program.

I like the new 'CLEAN' look to your Marketplace page. However, you really need to work on the catagories and search capabilities, which, in my opinion, went from excellent to unrealisticly tedious.
