I remember when you first posted this in your old gallery. I'm so glad you decided to include it in the new gallery. Improved you say, so you went and re-shot it? Bravo! I see why it is your favorite. I can almost her the clink and creak of boats as the tide moves them in their moorings. ;]

If memory serves me correct, the diffeence being in re-working the image in PS to obtain better control of the details. This you cerainly have, for the dynamic range is improved alog with the added detail in the highlights and dark areas.
