All Good Things

All good things must come to a close
During the course of our fragile lives
Eventually ending, whether bad or good,
Leaving us with happiness or sighs.
All good things must have a final chapter
Long after the story's climax has been met
Bringing to an end a personal journey
And a path for the future has finally been set.
All good things must come to an end
The baby bird must always leave its mother
Yet this is no cause for weeping or sorrow
For the end of one path is the beginning of another.

Very nice poem. But not all the time is the end of the path the begining of another. Sometimes you have to go on your path alone ...

Again, so much truth. I love your style... very open and honest. This one doesnt feel happy or sad, just simply accepting life as it is. Great job!
