It has been some time since I posted here. Thank you friends, for all your comments to my previous "Dragons Nest" picture. I had some things going on in my life but they luckely turned out for the best, so I thought I would return here to the Terragen section for a hello and a posting of my latest Terragen picture :-) Comments are welcome three_d_worlds_making_thumb_final.jpg

What a great picture!! It's good to see that Terragen can actually do stuff other than landscapes. I saw the fish (which by the way is an excellent-looking fish!) in the thumbnail and had to pop in for a closer look. Congratulations!

strong>@all</strong: Thank you so much for your comments .. you people make it hard not to spent all my time here :-)br><strong>@MDB</strong: The 3D fish terrain is created with the 3ds Max program using its polygon modelling capabilities. Then I exported the model as DXF format (the same format used in AutoCad) and used dxf2mesh to convert it to a TER file (due some compability problems I had to pull the DXF file in and out of Amapi3d before it worked). Also converted the TER file to BMP to be able to add the leaves on the water (as very flat mountains :-) using Photoshop, and afterwards changing it back to a TER file again. Textures handpainted with Photoshop (just one big texture map) and applyed using the SO Pack plugin for Terragen as one transparant RGB overlay.
