Description
The kingdom of Welland maintains a royal exploration fleet of flying ships for the twin purposes of scientific discovery and diplomacy. But there's a limit to how much of either can be done from above. There will always be a need for bold men and women to carry out the mission at ground level. Aboard the HMS Ranger, that dangerous task is assigned to the team of Lieutenant Ezra Custos, Ensign Meera Lantiya, and the royal mage Shadow (who keeps his true name secret, as do all spell casters).
