Some Things I Like
I used to ski a great deal and I have traveled around the US and Canada quite a bit. I love to read, and in summer gardening is a favorite hobby. I love food and I cook a lot, shopping at the local farmer’s market weekly.
Without a doubt, I am happiest in the woods. Something about the forest makes me feel as if I have come home after a long journey. It might be my roots since I am half Irish on my father's side and part Native American mixed in from my mother's side.
Much of my past time online revolved around the free form, text based role-play, also known as RP in some circles. I created and played a variety of original characters; everything from a deaf old man to a unique immortal warrior. My imagination is still filled with images inspired by my past RP experiences, some of which are reflected in my artwork.
On occasion, I miss the old-time, text-based format of RP. I know it is still around. But at this point in my life, if I spend time writing, it will be devoted to the projects that have been simmering in my imagination for so many years.
My all-time favorite movie is Gladiator, and the Lord of the Rings books are still my favorite read. My favorite show is Game of Thrones.
That’s a glimpse into Mel because after all, I am a fairly private person.

So beautiful. I will just have my say after reading comments. Art is art. To some, a can of poop is art! To some, random brush strokes that represent nothing but a mess is art. Throwing cans of paint onto a canvas on the floor is art. So how can anyone differentiate or make judgment on any form of art? Keep on doing what you love and enjoy !!
