Description

"Everyone for themselves!" declared Sir Squeaker. "Only a fool stands against this thing!" The rodent, being no fool, scampered toward the exit. "Like I needs sech advice!" growled Jorl who now possessed the golden sword of the monarch. "It can nae foller us outta the crypt!" The cat girl managed to keep the crown balanced on her head and firmly grasped the amulet in her left paw. "I wish I'd had time to try to grab more!" "Just run, girl!" Jorl replied. The Stone Golem was moving more easily and rapidly advanced on the little band as they made a hasty exit. Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered in Poser 12.0.1029 with Superfly Cycles 2 and tweaked in Photoshop for a bit of glow (spectral bloom) and vignette. The Catgirl is based on A3. Jorl and Stone Golem are a stand alone figures by Sixus1. The setting is from Cybertenko.

Splendid - but why doesn't she hold the crown in her other hand - it might fall off her head in the rush!

Hmm... torch in right hand; amulet in left hand; crown on head.... out of hands! XD

I'm sure she's going to be more careful than a fashion model balancing a book on her head regarding keeping that crown. =)

Thanks for your comment, I'm delighted that you are enjoying the series.

They best get a boogie on - that golem does not look pleased!

Heh. One of the things I like about the Stone Golem is that you can give him a bit of an expression. XD

Thanks for the fun comment, Rod!

Heh. It was driving me nuts to manage those danged torches and still get some shinies out of there! XD

I'm delighted you have a sense of jeopardy and the possibility that they might not flee fast enough to escape. That's a big success for the picture as far as I'm concerned. =D

Wow, that spell to knock out the golem didn't last very long at all! Maybe Jori and Cat Girl should've brought some shoulder bags with them, so that they could load them with shinies and still have a hand free for carrying torches! But at least they got a few big items that will hopefully be worth the effort and risk -- provided the golem isn't able to follow them out of the cave!

Heh. I'll remember shoulder bags next time I do a story like this. XD You might remember that the Wizard Ludovich had some doubts about the efficacy of the spell. See here:

Turns out changing the golem's composition really didn't do much in the line of immobilizing it! XD

Thanks, Amy, I always love hearing from you!
