so yea, lame title, i gotchu, and frankly, couldn't agree more, but in all fairness, this is a test image, just with pumped up saturation and a dab of Photoshop paint, so nothing to take seriously anyway... i finally had the time/motivation/wherewithall/whatever to sculpt in a morph i wanted for her, or rather, redo a sculpt for the third time to round her out for my purposes to make her easier to play with when time permits; hence the test drive to see how well things might fit and whatnot... feels nice to have a quick playabout with Abby. she's been a personal project of mine for a fair number of months now as i've created various morphs for her, created her skin textures, converted & re-rigged gobs of clothes for her stolen from her Runtime mates Vicki2, Vicki3, Aiko3 and V4, and have created a few other things in the process... [i] think i'm mostly done with everything i wanted to do for her, but there are still some things i need to learn so i've a better skill set in areas where i'm lacking... [yes yes, are we now back to sucky image title selections? heh...] ;) her base is that of LLF's Krystal figure, who i feel never got the love or proper support she deserved, unlike her favoured sister, Koshini. but in all honesty, i kind of like that fact, that she's not in the main of the mainstream... :)) [i know a few of you out there can related to that sentiment] thanks for taking a peek, and i hope everyone has a fabo weekend!! ~Kat

Abby is so cute, and I love what you've done with the Krystal figure! I agree she never got the love she deserved, but that makes it all the more fun to turn her into something no one else has seen before :-) The custom skin looks great, and I love the varying shades of violet in her hair! This is a very sweet portrait, and I look forward to seeing more of Abby in the future!

thank you for the feedback, Amy. i bought the Krystal figure last Octobre, and i'd been hunting for a figure to really pour something into. having tried more than several others, with nothing clicking, i was pleasantly surprised and quite pleased this time. whenever i buy a new figure, i create a full texture set for them - skin, eyes, shaders, etc - as it helps me to 'see' them through my own eyes rather than how someone else might see them were i to use any other textures, if that makes sense. so her skin and such was the very first thing i did for her last year. i did up that hair texture a few years ago for another image, stumbled across it again in my Runtime & tossed it on - i was always pleased w. how that effort turned out... :))
