Max says "You wanna crank that S**T up any louder, asswipe?"
I know how she feels. Our wonderful 'neighbor' 3 houses east is back to blasting the entire area with his f***ing loud rap-crap. That base-heavy shit literally rattles my windows. The Independence Police are pretty much useless, or have too many other things to attend to. And no, I have not walked down and politely asked him to lower the volume. He'd probably respond with gunfire.
God, I hope we can get out of this s**t hole soon - before I do something that will get me arrested. (Don't worry, I'm not going to...).
Thanks to everyone for all your awesome comments on my last post! And yes, I am working on the next TNA page in between all the other crap going on. Jo's brother had to go back to the hospital today with some bleeding from his backside. He's in ICU, and doing OK so far.
Hope things are going better for all of you. This year has sucked so far....

Don't we all wish we could solve problems like that! Unfortunately, we live in a nation where the laws protect the guilty and punish those they victimize. The advantage of living in an apartment complex is you can call the management and have them do the dirty work.

I have 2 pit bulls problems from behind me (idiot owner) and to one side. I was trying to mow the alley and the pit bull literally ripped off a picket. I like the owner beside of me, but the one in the back can go to where ever he wants as long as he no longer lives here. next door had 2 pit bulls and one was a female. she kept getting out and if she spotted me, she would come running to be petted. I think the male is still jealous after 2 years or close.
2 other families does not understand the concept of handling their trash containers. they over fill with no lids. either strong winds blows it over to my house, or when the recycle truck comes the stuff falls out when it is lifted. "and" they often play their music way too loud also

As I said in my last comment, I truly hope that Jo's brother is getting better. I hope he's recovering fully. I'm so sorry for him, and for you and Jo.
As for the noise...ay ay ay...in my case, heavy rock was the source, where the bass and drums pounded so loudly, the walls shook. At first, ya think, they're having a party...but when it's every night, and then every day, it becomes torture. I'm really sorry you've had to go through this all the time; it's a wholly legitimate reason to move---and quickly. I hope you and Jo find the place that's just right for you; and as soon as is right for both you. I know how battering noise can be.
Your image has a certain grain to my eyes, and it gives a feeling (almost) of a night-vision shot; and your model, Max, has those glasses which make her look like a night-soldier. Fine colors---a fine contrast with her rust red hair---and I love how she descends into the dark bottom of the image: You divide your image with that dark floor/sidewalk. Great old decayed wall too: It gives her a heightened seriousness. Another fine job with your model (Max), your pose, hues, shadows, outfit and background. The background is perfect.....I really hope you find peace. (I once lived next to an opera buff, who I thought would be considerate: Omg, day and night, some tenor singing that he'll kill himself if his lover doesn't come back...I heard that 2000 times in a row, at top volume. I truly hope you find peace! You both deserve it greatly.
