Description
Wet skin shader I made - a Superfly Poser 12 render, a peek into the wet skin shader I made.😊💖🥰
It uses no tricks, no second mesh - visible or hidden - and no layers or masks. The dripping water floats above the mesh.😂
It's using my own concept, design and implementation. Not much hair left to tear off, though..
I'll try to make some minor improvements to the optics part, the floating thingie took me .., never mind...
The lil sleep I had, I was dreaming lasers modulating other lasers light.., not the usual dreams I'm used to have...
This is just SWIP, i.e. damn slow work in progress.
First render is pure 3D Superfly render, second image is denoized. Render time less than 5 minutes.
No postwork, never ever.

I've just finished the water drips part to show above skin. The optics is just basic and I'll try to improve it. It's not water bumps or paralax joke, they are 3D drips. When I'll have a more decent optics look, I'll try to make a higher resolution render. Eventually more close up and other angles with different HDR lighting as well.

After I saw it the very first time, it came to my mind, what if we are actually wasting most of our lives in the widespread noise, while not being able to see the real magic. We are developing anything around us but nothing within, just like we didn't even exist. It's quite strange and weird enough for me. Even Cameron suggested bi-directional communication is of greatest importance and yet, that well connected society still thought there were limits in broadly communicating but, Jack Sully proved they were wrong, it was thoroughly communicating right there with everything and it was working for real... Just saying..

I'm trying to improve the water looks, I wish it worked as much as independent as possible of the underlying mesh on one hand, on the other hand I wish it were less sensitive to the UVs, there I think it's a bit more difficult for now. The UV is a normalized aquisition area, the percentage of a specific used area determines how much detail can be aquired. Also, displacement is more of a virtual surface generated at render time, the preview material can't help when designing it and that means longer times for testing.
