WWIII is so highly possible Rod, with also North Korea testing missiles again and getting much better with them I feel something is up. I'm keeping faith for the best. Little depression myself but I've been like this for years so I'm used to it and handle it. I could take a break from making more images for three months and still have enough to post as I normally do every week. Yeah if Tina was real she would he all over this.

I have my worries also. In England there are massive demonstrations against putin mabaho. I have relatives that lives there. one is afraid to live her home and one of her sons has covid and as well his wife and son. she is out of places to go but her and her sister may come here and live with a brother until things improve. I will be glad to see them.

My theory is that Covid pushed Putin over the edge into a break with reality. My hope is that the upper echelons of the military will put the brakes on any nuclear adventures, and that Putin's mob buddies will decide he is costing them too much money. Meanwhile an unstable, rogue Russia is no good for anyone, including the Russian people. I hope that Ukraine survives as well. I have enormous respect for them.

Take care of yourself and your wife, Rod. Take some time to do the things you love. Self care is important in these crazy times.

I'm sorry to hear all these things have had such an effect on you. I think these mad men have always been part of human society and they always seem to find their way into positions of power... the difference is today they have the ability to destroy the whole world with a push of a button rather than being limited to swords, bows and guns. Sometimes it does seem like life is coming apart at the sems, but we need to have the strength and faith to understand that somethings are just beyond our ability to change... while still make a difference when and where was can. I believe that acts of kindness multiple... if we all do one or two small things to help others every day it spreads and can make a real difference in life and society. As for COVID, as long as there are people who won't take the proper precautions (i.e. vaccinate, social distance, wear masks, etc.) it's not going anywhere... but people are losing tolerance with those who put the rest of us at risk. My sister is one of the deniers who will not get vaccinated or wear a mask, and she's been rejected for literally dozens of jobs she's overqualified for because they won't even interview her. Even for "virtual" jobs which have no physical interaction... the public is doing what the government can't or won't, which I think may be more effective in the long run. We all have to keep our eyes on the light at the end of tunnel and keep pushing forward.
