Description

Just some fun fanart. Inspired more by the older Valejo art, rather than the modern run. I've been making renders for the pinup contest, but this one was definitely straying off-genre. This weekend a dear friend of mine disappeared after leaving a goodbye note in Minecraft of all things. He's been found since - VERY sick with post-COVID pneumonia. I'm so relieved. I thought he'd gone and done something awful. I think he must have been delirious when he wrote the note. I hope that's what it was. The way it was worded, the way it was left... So, I want to take this opportunity to post a friendly reminder. If you're struggling, whether it's because you're sick with pneumonia, or suffering from suicidal thoughts - TALK TO SOMEBODY! I myself struggle with such thoughts. Every day it's a fight. Every day I have to remind myself of the things I must live for. I KNOW it's hard. But trust me. People care about you. Maybe even somebody you never even suspected. You make a difference. And for crying out loud, if you're having trouble breathing call a damn ambulance and get to the hospital! These are not the times to be stubborn. It's an admirable quality, but I'd rather be telling you you're a stubborn bastard to your face than speaking the words at a funeral, okay?

A message that makes you think! I don't think many people bother to read them. After the death of my 2nd child, my son Steve, he was only 36 years old, I also thought about suicide, but pulled myself out of the hole I had fallen into and which ended in pill addiction. Today it's the spitefulness of some artists here that devastates me, but thinking about suicide because of this rabble, that would never occur to me, I'd rather leave this gallery, which once saved my life, today she's destroying me so slowly! Take care and stay as strong as I am dear Lyle.

I've stepped back a bit, as I realized it was starting to feel a bit fake. If I'm giving praise, I want it to be heartfelt. Also, my goal was to gain connections, which I've done, and try to attract new readers, which I have not done. So, I'll flip through the galleries every now and then, and keep posting, but I'm choosing not to stress and only really comment when it's heartfelt and not just out of obligation.

None of us are alone, and I'd like to think the friends I've made here I could rely on if I truly asked for help.
