nice realistic water, POV on the swimmers is great.

I love you too, my dear Steve. This render is just part of the water on ground or underground level 'helper'. My implementation also allows controled water level and underwater renders, otherwise a simple plane with a hole in it and 'matte' enabled on that plane would do the job just fine. I wish so much all my friends stay warm and healthy and comfortable. This is my most important wish for my dear friends. Here it's also chilly, it's below freezing but we still have the old stove with woods working great. Besides we got as well a new working heating system, which needs to burn gas, if needed it can heat the house within a quarter of an hour or just help with a more pleasant warm temperatures whenever needed. House walls are bricks and we added a cheap thermal insulator but most heat goes through the ceiling, as you know. That will need improvements. Good thermal insulators makes all the difference but usually they are very expensive and lots of people protect them well, day and night.. If it will rain more money, I might be able to buy some. Anyway, what we have is still good and we are very happy with our warm home. Thank you very much for the wonderful words, my dear friend. 😊💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

The way it refracts the sunlight and figures is outstanding. Great job on these shaders!
mifdesign 10:30PM | Fri, 14 January 2022
I love you too, my dear Rod. You are always very dear. Water caustics and water shaders are more difficult, you are right, of course. Caustics with render settings caustics set to Off is truly complicated and quite difficult to achieve. Also global illumination only makes it an even harder goal to achieve. When caustics in iray render settings is set to On, it actually envolves a totally different way to compute light, I think camera shoots rays and objects shoot rays as well. That makes render times go nuts, almost double or even worse, in some situations. I was very happy with my water shader, especially because it can render caustics within the volume, the water volume space I mean and also it renders caustics from outside. It sounds like ordinary stuff but it's not that easy, you were right. Thank you for the heart warming words, my dear friend.😊💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Always stunning render? Wonderful work!!👍🙋♂️
mifdesign 5:57PM | Sat, 15 January 2022
Yup, it really is. Try to achieve caustics with any shader, with caustics button on Off. True caustics, not projected lights or other fakes. You will soon realize it's not really working. That's the only reason it's stunning. When you enable caustics in the render settings, the render engine uses a totally different approach, light is shot from camera and also from objects. Even so, lots of information is lost - on purpose because of huge data that would had to be aquired and processed - after any ray does it's first hit. 58 seconds render time is also very short as well, while achieving caustics.
Thank you very much for the wonderful words, my dear friend.😊💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
