Description
Another Vue work using the Gaea props from Kitbash 3D. Did some significant post in PS for haze and depth.
As a side note, since people do share here somewhat, the Thursday before Halloween, my 94 year old mother took a bad spill in the driveway. Her, my brother and I share the house, my parents built. It's been added on to and upgraded over the years and the three of us manage live comfortably without being in each other's faces. That said, my bro quit work back in Feb to stay home full time and keep an eye on mom. She has minor dementia and short term memory issues. So cooking, driving and even reading are things she can't or is limited at doing. For her age she is in great shape, walks everywhere, goes the driveway to get mail, sweeps leaves off the small back deck and manages to stay relatively active for her age.
I was at work and my bro was at home. When he went to look for her after just talking to her he found her in the driveway, bruised, scraped and a bad scrape to the head. Luckily he was there and she couldn't have been there more than a couple of minutes. The ambulance was called and to shorten this up; she broke her wrist, some bruises and scrapes, but the bad part was a head contusion and some bleeding on the brain.
She's been moved from the hospital to a temporary rehab center to get her physical strength back and to keep a close eye on her as her head heals. She has a brain scan in another few days. It's really heartbreaking to leave her alone like this when she forgets where she is and why she's there. The place seems good and the nurses and attending staff are attentive and all nice. It's tough seeing my once sharp and strong mom be out of it and not able to hold anything of a conversation. My dad died years ago when I was eight and she raised three boys by herself and managed to instill morals and a high work and personal ethic in each of us.
My brother has been with her for hours every day and I've been going by after work everyday, so we can be there when she's awake and also watch her progress. She was better today than yesterday, but until I can get a laugh out of her and at least some real phrases it's going to suck. It's early still in the process and the doctors say she's doing well for her age and injury, but they did not know her before this. I've never seen her so vegetative before and it's rather scary. I'm keeping a hopeful outlook for now and see what happens over the next few days and what her brain scan reveals. Thanks for stopping by. I'm hoping prayers and wishes from anyone are a positive impact. Thanks for your time.

As always, a magnificent Vue work of art, Art. Excellent job on the environment and atmosphere - perfect!
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your mom and bro, my friend. Sadly it's one of those stresses that come as we get older. Went through a lot of the same stuff years ago with my mom, then my dad a few years afterwards, so I can relate.

Fantastic scene! I know exactly what you are going thru since we had almost the same situation with my Mother only it was her ankle. Her dementia has gotten worse and combined with a broken hip last year we had to get her into a nursing home permanently. I am glad your Mother is getting better even though it seems to take forever when you are sitting with her. All my best to you and your family.

Your new graphic looks fantastic as always, as do all the others, unfortunately I can't manage to comment on them all and hope for your understanding!
