Well here it is! I've been working on this since Feb 2020, covid did set me back about a month. The CD is officially released. What you see here is, from top to bottom, the main covers, the inner intro credit pages in the booklet and the bottom image is the cover to the booklet. The CD is made up of all original music written by me including the lyrics. There is one cover song, an Iron Maiden song from 2001 Brave New World, "The Thin Line Between Love and Hate". The "band" is a familiar line up of me, my brother and Rich Berends with the addition of a new guitarist for us, Ken Lawton. The music stems from my love of early 70s prog rock, such as ELP, YES, King Crimson, Rush etc. But it also encompasses rock, hard rock, heavy metal (Iron Maiden) and even psychedelia, jam bands and jazz and jazz rock. The break down: Art Dorety: Music, lyrics, keyboards, electronics and vocals Ken Lawton: Electric guitar rhythm and leads Chris Dorety: Bass, some electric guitar, rhythms, effects and a lead plus 12 string acoustic guitar. He provides some additional lyrics and vocals on one song as well Rich Berends: Drums One of our own here, rhol figament allowed me to use his words that accompanied one of his fractal images for one track called "Sometimes We Fall". I'm including some links so you can get a taste of what the music is and if you like it and want to support the cause the last link is to the Dorety Brothers shop where you can buy a CD. Credit cards accepted. The YouTube link has three videos including "Sometimes We Fall" and features some of rhol figament's fractal and other images in the video. Jango internet radio: YouTube: Bandcamp. One song available here for download with more to be added soon: Dorety Brothers shop: Thanks for stopping by and your support.
