Description

I've been taking a 12 week webinar on Vue, taught by Vladimir Chopine (Geek At Play Studios youtube tutorials). I've been doing this since March and I've taken some other multiweek classes through Digital Art Live Studio. Here's a link: https://www.digitalartlive.studio/share/X5XS65zxT6kz-Un1?utm_source=manual It is a great learning community and there's access to many artists and pro artists of various forms of art and software. Poser, DAZ, Vue, etc. Highly recommended if you are looking to learn some new software or expand on what you use. It is not a gallery per se nor a marketplace, it's a hub of artists and a resource for learning materials and classes. So this is the final image after 11 weeks. We started with the house prop and each week went over an aspect and tools for creating a scene around the prop. We started with the Vue terrain editor then the next 2 weeks was materials and the material editor, then importing objects from other software (Poser, DAZ, etc), then lights, then atmosphere, the function editor, water, godrays and so on. Sticking with one prop, the image was built upon each week as different scene creation tools were explored. I can make a montage of progress and post that too I suppose. Anyway, this was a fun class each week and has kept me learning and busy. I'm finally finishing all instrumental recordings for this music project and will start on final mixing next week. Hopefully I'll have finished product by the end of May. These things, plus a day job and entertaining my old mom in the evenings and three weeks of Covid has kept me busy. I'm glad to be able to take some time and see what everyone is up to and thanks for stopping by.

OMG!!

This is just off the scale, Art! Just look at that atmospheric environment - godrays and everything! I'd say that course is really taking your already amazing work to the next level - or three. I thought about taking that course, but without a subscription to Vue, I don't know how much good it would have done.

I'll definitely echo what you said about DAL, though.. I've attended several of their webinars, and enjoyed all of them. It is an awesome community, and I also recommend them highly.

Sounds like you've been even busier than me, buddy! LOL. Glad you beat that nasty Covid, too! Hope all goes well with the music project! Good to see your work here again!
