(Fictional Story) It was one of the days on which I had agreed with Yu Lin to go for a walk. It was a beautiful spring day and although it was only the beginning of April, the air was pleasantly warm and in the the sun it felt almost like a little bit of summer. On our walk, we decided to take the path over the hills and go to the farms and along the old orchards. Yu Lin always loved to be in nature, and when spring brought color back to the bare trees and bushes and the air was filled with the scent of blossoms, she really came alive. As soon as we arrived at the meadows of the old farms, we saw that the cherry trees were already in full bloom. Yu Lin took off her shoes and jumped into the half-high grass. She ran to one of the cherry trees that were so wonderfully in bloom right now, grabbed a branch and pulled it down to her to better smell the blossoms. "Come you have to smell this, this is so wonderful..." She called out to me. "Uh, Yu, I don't know if you can just stand there in the grass. I mean, the land isn't ours and I'm sure the farmers don't want us kicking down their grass..." I stated. "Come on, until the time comes to mow, it's still a while and the grass isn't that high yet" she defended. "But how do you know?" "You seem to forget that my father was a farmer. I know the times and I know a little something about the times and cycles of nature." She returned with a twinkle in her eye. "But you know, you go in there barefoot! You might step on something and hurt yourself, or you might stand on a bee and it stings you..." "I'm used to walking barefoot and the bees are all in the trees on the blooms right now" she laughed back. Then I made my last attempt: "We had a very mild winter. I'm sure we have a lot of ticks that are active now and you know they can carry such tricky diseases. Megen..., Mene..." "Menengitis" she called to me laughing and added "and Lyme disease and a lot of other awful things", but you can vaccinate against menengitis and borreliosis can be recognized by the red rings around the tick's bite and if you act quickly you can stop it before it gets bad. Besides, here in the area only about 5% of the ticks transmit a disease". "Aha, you know a lot" "Yes, you also seem to forget that I studied medicine." "Ok, but then you should know how dangerous it all is". "It's not as dangerous as you think, and if you behave properly you can reduce the residual risk as well." "And how do you behave properly?" "By wearing long clothes or by checking your whole body for ticks in the evening and removing any that you find." "When I look at you like this, the only option for you today is to search your body for ticks. Well, then I really would like to know how you want to check your back or your bottom for ticks" I teased. She didn't let it bother her, holding onto the trunk and a branch, leaning back and tossing her head mischievously in the nape of her neck so that her long black hair fell seductively down her back. Then she smiled and said, "I can't do that! You'll have to help me with that!" There I stood now disarmed and completely baffled with open mouth! In front of me a woman like a goddess telling me that I shall help her to search her body for ticks. Oh, my! I was definitely not prepared for this statement and searched for an clever answer. It was in vain- she completely beat me. Seeing me like this, she laughed out loud as if she could now see my thoughts clearly in a bubble above me. Raising an eyebrow I said," Well, it looks like I'll have to do that then," and I had to grin broadly and then laugh as well. As I stepped towards her she suddenly called out," Watch out, you might catch a tick!" I went on and just grinned: "Well, then you will have to help me tonight to search my back for ticks too. ------- I sure love to walk over the countryside in springtime and enjoy the nature coming back to life. Some of the most beautiful things to me are when trees are covered in bloom and if you stand beneath them and smell that sweet scent of the flowers and hear all that busy humming of all the bees in the tree. I wrote that Josie 7 is one of them. Now here is another one, that I use regularly: Yu Lin form DYYS. She's an absolute beauty and from the moment I saw her first, I knew, I had to get her and that she will immediately join my favorites. And sometimes, when I'm creating a scene with her, suddenly my thoughts totally drift off, begin to soar and result in stories like the one above.
