Description
There are certain things, once you've heard of it, you won't forget it anymore and you can't explain why. A few years ago we had in our office a table calendar called "Useless knowledge". Every day it has blessed us with some weird facts we mostly didn't know before and most probably never will find a use for. But one day there was one of those things I never forgot anymore: PETRICHOR! Do you belong to the few who really knows what Petrichor actually is?
WikiPedia explaines it this way: "...Petrichor (/ˈpɛtrɪkɔːr/) is the earthy scent produced when rain falls on dry soil. The word is constructed from Greek petra (πέτρα), meaning "stone", and īchōr (ἰχώρ), the fluid that flows in the veins of the gods in Greek mythology..."
WOW! Did you know, that the scent of rain on dry ground after a long dry period has a name??? I didn't until then and now you know as well, and probably, same as me, you won't forget that word anymore from now on! Yeah, it is absolutely useless knowledge and you cant make a PHD with it nor buy anything! Maybe it serves to impress your friends or some pretty girls (or Boys - to be gender correct) you want to date? But in the last case the effect it makes will probably wear off pretty fast, because nobody can really do something with the knowledge of Petrichor... But it' stuck with me and I think it's funny!
I tried to get a believable rain and wet t-shirt effect with this render, but had to found, that it is harder than I anticipated first. Not even the hair looks really convincing to me yet (yes, I'm a perfectionist in a way and unfortunately far from that experienced and advanced as Darkglass is) LOL.
So any help and tips about this particular challenge are highly welcome!
Render is pure IRAY-Render with no postwork (except the logo in the lower right corner)
Ticked "nudity" because... Nah I think there might be some Nipples visible through the wet-Tshirt... :-D

Oh, now you've gone and done it..... I've actually learned something today...... Hmmm..... Petrichor...... OK - I didn't know about that one, but now I HAVE to find a use for it..... I may even have to create a scene in the T.N.A. story just to use that word..
Seriously, you've created a lovely scene with Jenny's Lucy - she looks like she's loving getting soaked in the rain (it beats all the snow we've been getting).
Getting the "wet t-shirt" look is a lot more challenging than one would think... Here's one I did some time ago - also with one of Jenny's girls): Braelyn Wet T-Shirt I'm fairly happy with it, but I need to try it again..

Hey Rod! Thanks for the comment. You really did an outstanding job with your wet T-shirt image!! My (maybe too perfectionistic) target is to achieve this only with rendering and without postwork as with all of my renderings. Yeah it isn‘t easy That way and often pretty time consuming. However I don‘t have to reach any deadlines and I learn a heck a lot of it

Great image and I love to learn new words. Wet effects are tough to make and I like what you did.
Maybe having a less glossy hair and off white t-shirt would sell the effect more?

Oh my, my, I missed this one! And I know "too busy" is not a reason. BUT--- there is a saying it's better late than never. So just want to thank you for this exemplary render. You have a fantastic way of making your renders look as natural as they can, which I think it's not an easy task to do. But you just have an eye for that. A talent? Maybe you have an eye for it, or maybe you just know the basics, whatever it is, it's one of a kind.
