Description

Meanwhile Thomas and Ian faced one at the front of the ship. The beast swept back and forth across the bow a few times then dove in suddenly. Ian was on one knee with his swords crossed and ready to strik, with Thomas standing behind him with staff at the ready. He stood as an image of stocky and unmoving composure. As the wyvern dove in Thomas raised his staff and the head of it grew bright and a strong swirling wind came up and encompassed the winged creature, slowing it and making it an easy target for Ian's two swords. Without hesitation, Ian leaped up and onto the column holding the wheel and slashed at both the wings of the beast where the membranes connected to the body severing them free. As he pulled back the blades, he used the serrations on the back of the blades to cut tendons in the creature's underarms. Thomas, using his wind force, pushed the beast beyond the railing and let the wind dissipate. The wyvern squealed in pain and desperately tried flapping its wings to no avail. With not tendons the wing arms would not flap. Dropping like a rock, the beasts howls could be heard fading away as it fell, suddenly getting cut short after a few moments. Thanks for stopping by.

Fantastic image and action here Art! They make a good team, Thomas and Ian! I was wondering what those notches were in the blades. Now I know! Lol...yes, it would suck :) Thanks for the laugh.

Great teamwork. Now we see how these two work, with Thomas just being protected by Ian but playing an active role in combat. The view is like a rider on the dragon's back.
