I'm done ranting. I've never really done much in the classic hero fantasy, though Boris and Frazeta are very inspiring to me. So I had a go at it with this one. Atlas seemed to be the perfect character for the hero, with furry barbarian boots from Powerage. And the monster is a combination of the body of Dinoraul's Snake Dragon(DAZ) and the head of the Millenium Dragon 2(DAZ). I morphed away on the head and darkened the skin in the Poser material room to match the body. I don't remember where I got the bones from, but I have them all saved as Vue objects in a folder for just such an occasion. Thanks for the look.

Excellent! I love your wicked cool dragon morph! ")

Really looks like a burned out battlefield. Fire breathing dragon perhaps? You really do create the best fantasy (and real) landscapes. The morphing on the dragon worked well allowing you to create your own creature. I respect morphing as I know it is difficult to blend them seamlessly. Well I see they improved the color and got some of the sizing issues fixed but they seem damn stubborn on the text box, which I thought would be an easy first fix.

A suitably heroic looking image, Art!! Great job on the great 'wurm' you made :) Atlas is perfect for this. You should channel Frazetta and Boris more often!!

fabulous action/fight scene arthur, nice render.

Rant all you want, Art. There are many bigger causes in life that never would have been addressed had it not been for some ranters. :) This is a wonderful epic fantasy scene as only you can do. You do art on such a large scale, we can get lost in it like we get lost in a great book. Your work is an inspiration> :)

It will make a great set of matching boots and Hero Jockstrap for our barbarian! "Ja! Dat's real dragon skin, baby!"

Having never worked with the MD or any creatures really I can only imagine what it took to morph the two together, and as seamlessly as you have here makes for one nasty lookin' spud! Very Boris and Frank-like with the hero in the foreground and your posing. They both were amazing artists and fuled my interest in fantasy art at a young age... as they did many here I would imagine. 10+ stars if I could, Art, your channeling is strong... :D

Another excellent scene... I like what you did with the dragon, unique! The atmosphere is one of a devastated battlefield. High drama, Great work.

This is an incredible work of art, Art! You did a fantastic job on that Dragon – I think Boris and Frazetta would be proud. A magnificent piece of work, my friend!
