Well, I definitely do not like these little boxes to write in. I'm willing to wait and see what the new changes manifest, but I doubt anything is going to change from what it is now. I don't see any changes that I asked for in the survey, like larger upload sizes and such.
When I first came here, the amount of 'artists currently online' was upwards to 7,000 on peak hours and rarely less than 3,000. Now it never seems to go over 2,000. Maybe it's all these 'improvements'. They're just too good for everybody, so they had to stay behind.
Again, I'm a patient person and will wait and see. I don't mind change, if it actually improves something----besides the marketplace----- Meanwhile, I'll be updating and organizing my Deviant Art page a little more.

Great design on this! And I'm with you on the "improvements." I ate the glaring white boxes all over the place, it's too jarring. Ah well....

A most excellent artwork! Looks like an awesome CD cover! I'm with you, Art... I'll hang in there and see what happens. I enjoy this community too much to just say 'screw it' and leave. But I think I may be posting more and spending more time at DA myself.. I hope the powers-that-be at Rendo can see that they are slowly driving folks away... Probably not, though..

I am too tired to write to RMP tonight but I am going to write one tomorrow. Last time when they made changes they let us comment and the community was able to correct a lot of the "improvements." This time I see no such opportunity. The interface really sucks. The white and pale blue is blinding. And what is with these tiny comment boxes? Trying to save disk space by keeping comments to "Nice" and "Pretty Nice"? And the poor vendors, they have butchered the advert pages. No wonder membership keeps dropping.

I don't like them either. But we bitched, moaned & begged for them to stop the last set of changes & we were literally told to 'get used to it' in the forum. No lie. Exact quote.

I agree with your rant, Art, and Jessie's as well ~ the glaring white boxes everywhere suck, like they think they HAVE to bring more attention to things on sale or that're "hot" in the MP. If I want to see what's in the MP I just go in there and look, I mean, how tough is that to do? Next we'll have flashing neon arrows to help us better decide where to go looking. Maybe another reason activity is reduced is that it seems like they've decided that there's a relative handful of creators that're getting their stuff passed into the MP. While I love some of them how many of the same character can you have in your runtime? I've seen truly unique and what appeared to be very finely thought out and crafted characters denied while here comes another in a long line of exactly-the-same cookie cutter cuties that get plopped right into the store with what seems to be nary a passing glance. Different makeup but the same old character... or so they appear to me. Lets see what the next week or so brings us...

I wish they would change it back...I dont like the new look either, t all but Im not here much so I dont have much right to bitch. I see this image, reminds me of Sully. Im supposed to go to NH in April to see him play...Avalon. lol
