Description

"Many wars and feuds did Conan fight. Honor and fear were heaped upon his name and, in time, he became a king by his own hand ... but that is another story." I've been fascinated on and off over the years with the idea of a slightly older Conan, when the wars are all won and he has achieved peace and plenty, and a Kingdom of his own. I always imagined he'd be bored by that. I imagined he'd thrive on chaos and the rules restrictions of governing a kingdom would weigh heavily on him. Hence the look of utter boredom in this pic. Really wonderful work!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... even with that low resolution sword. Since you're a Conan fan.... I have a nice model / poser prop that I created of that Atlantean Sword.... it's a beauty :) I'll site mail you a download link in just a few. Hopefully you have poser 9 or Pro ( because then everything is ready to render and includes a morph to change the length of the handle), but if not... you can load the .obj file I included and then set up the materials the way you like them ( texture maps are included in the .zip file too ) Then you can use it on future Conan images :) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. -blbarrett
