My second Poser scene rendered in LuxRender, exported via Pose2Lux
Here are a few tips and tricks that I picked up while trying to render this scene in LuxRender:
1. You can make LuxRender pick up speed (the Samples/s) faster if you first let it render something simple like a scene with only one object in it. Then pause the rendering and open up the actual scene you want to render.
2. Test out your materials using the simple scene (see tip #1). You will see how the material looks within a minute or less. That way, you won't end up rendering a scene for several hours and come to find that a certain material you used did not come up looking like what you wanted and you have to go back and make a change and start the rendering all over again.
3. When you end up with several renders of the same scene that you don't like (see tip #2), don't delete their FLM files just yet. You can merge them into the render you did like to increase the samples per pixel of the final render. I wrote a tutorial on this for anyone interested. It is on my website acrionx.com
These are just a few things I observed or think was happening while working on my machine.

I'd be most interested in your tutorial! I've been using P2L (when I have the time to play with Poser)and there's a lot I don't understand. I'm making some progress, but it's very slow. Your image looks great and I look forward to your tutorial.
