Description

They had travelled nearly two hours and were in a region of the marsh thick with vegetation and saturated with murky marsh water and nearly still riverlets. It was getting quite diffucult to trek through the area. His companion suddenly stopped. His ears went back and his chest rumbled with a low growl. The tracker saw movement ahead among some trees and a huge marsh grizzly came forth, but was immediately followed by another figure. Tall and thin and carrying a large bladed staff, it appeared to be a woman. As the pair came closer he recognized her. She was from one of the other villages and he guessed she was on the same quest as he. He didn't know her well, but he had always admired her from afar. He'd watched her at the Summer Games when many from all the Seven Villages would gather for games of skill and competition. She may have been a little older than he as well, but she was one of the best warriors and atheletes he'd seen. They approached and stopped and she took a casual stance before him. She looked the man and his cat up and down as if sizing them up for a fight. The grizzly sniffed the air, but did not look too concerned. The great cat looked a little tense, but waited on his companion's reaction. She spoke. "I recognize you from the games. You are an excellent athelete." His knees actually went a little weak. He found her quite attractive. She continued, "I see we are on the same quest. I am glad. This creature is more dangerous and larger than what I expected. But between the four of us, I think we have a chance. I know where it's resting and I came up with a plan when I saw you two." He notices she took the lead right away and he didn't really mind. He'd listen to her plan and if it sounded reasonable, he'd go along with it. After listening he agreed. Simple distraction and ambush. No matter how you looked at the situation it was dangerous. The creature could easily kill all of them in a matter of moments, but he didn't have a better idea. "Follow me." She said, and they trekked off into the marsh making their way to what looked to be higher ground. That bear fur takes up a lot of resources. He had to be positioned without it then reloaded before I was ready to render. GND4 with Mirhelle's Bijou for the face and skin. Skin also enhanced with Skinvue in Vue. Powerage for No Name outfit. Thanks for looking and comments.

Very nice scene, great posing. The bear looks great, nice specular effects on the fur. If it's Poser dynamic hair, it must be very heavy to work with :) Well done. 5*

Wow, now that is a landscape! You have really picked up the pace with your work in VUE, and you inspire me to maybe reopen my package and try again. I love how you have used the mosses as ferns, I believe they are Thuidium. Lighting is just perfection here and gives a rich sense of moisture that you would expect in a fen. Story is well-written and flows nicely.

Impressive, especially the bear! I bought it, too - and found myself unabletouse it. Poser 6 gave me Python errors. And Vue 9 complete would choke when trying to import it - despite 8 Gigs of Ram... :/
