The significance of the image both enrages and saddens me. But, believe it or not, we had toilets similar to this, except they were made of long planks of wood, when I was in the US Army in the Philippines, so many decades ago. No privacy there.

Je vais quand même en faire un: voilà une image SUPERBE, dont la lumière me fait penser au livre de Etty Hillesum ("une vie bouleversée), qui, au milieu des horreurs du camp de concentration où elle vivait, arrivait quasiment tous les jours à percevoir un peu de lumière divine. Quelles que soient nos "convictions", c'est à lire. Inoubliable et bouleversant.
