Description

This is a companion image to 'A Mother's Touch', that I posted yesterday, along with the story of this foal's life and death struggle to survive. Django, the foal, after a very difficult birth, finally walks over to his owner to give him a thank you kiss. The moment was captured by Ilona Krijgsman (vlaaitje) who photographed the happy ending. It was such a special experience, she asked me to create a painting to give to the owner. Django and his mother, Roemba, are doing great. Created in Photoshop CS, using a photo, painting techniques, and a background by didi-mc. Hope you enjoy. CC
