Description

The castle keeps watch over the entrance to the mountain pass. Vue 5 Esprit, 20 million polygons, 15 minutes render time. Castle credit to Luca Rodolfi (rodluc2001). One problem with it that I'm a little mad about - when I render it at 4000x pixels across, the terrains look all smooth and wavy. Why is this? It doesn't look sharp and realistic like it does in the smaller version. :(

Nice work on your landscaping. Reminds me of one of my dragonlance books where the knights keep was smack dab in the center of a valley. Only way through, was through them. I don't know about the size issue, but perhaps it's because of a higher render quality setting?
