Andreas, I don't believe that there is any need for you to explain, or even try to explain your principles or reasons as to why you choose to upload this image or any other in fact. You take photographs, you understand the subject better than any other individual who then views it second-hand. The reason or motive behind the image is not relevant. Art is subjective, it is open to interpretation, and that is what counts. If you are happy with your presentation then that is what matters...true or false? Personally I enjoy creations of engineering, whether this century or thirty centuries ago and I think this is a very good piece of presentation.

Yes, obviously Eija is a great subject, this bridge loose against her with any doubt, I don't like the bridge very much but the atmoshere, the lights and the colours are wonderful and make it seems more nice that it is...Don't think bad Andreas, I don't like the bridge because I prefer nature construction, you know..and Eija...is a sweetie...she is my favourite subject to look at!!!..and Fenox too!!Huggs Lara

I set my browser up so that I could alt-tab between the two, and the first one is more a landscape, where the second one (As you intone) is a study of the bridge. I like them both equally for different reasons. This one shows better detail on the bridge, but the first one has more of the fabulous landscape in it! Excellent!!! By the way, I have done reposts of a couple 3D works, and subjected people to the same thing, no one hit me! ; ) Keep up the great work!

Thank you Pete. What i meant was that i like to have some diversity if you will. I took probably 25 shots of this bridge that look just as good (or bad...up to you, lol) as this one. But if i were to upload all of those, i would either just sit back and wait till i uploaded them all before i "pushed" myself into thinking of what to capture next. Or i would keep photographing in the meanwhile...and most of those shots would grow mighty boring and dull to me before their time to be uploaded ever came. I do finish off "work" for my own personal pleasure, but when it comes to this gallery of mine here....i like to keep it variated. #:o) ...im probably making no sense, lol.

I like this one of the two because I feel it has a subject. The bridge is of an interesting construction and tells story of the type of terrain where it is.

Well, I have to admit that this one would be my favorite of the two also. But I haven't changed my mind about the subject matter. Stuff like this allows me to travel in my mind back to my home town and days of my younger years. I used to spend a lot of time by myself thinking about life and everything in it. There was a particular bridge that I used to sit under. That's where I wrote some of my best poetry and love letters. Now I've gone on and went blah, blah, blah. Oops! I absolutely love the whole thing. V

Break all the rules you rebel you!!! I love this shot regardless, love the steel of the bridge against the ice, snow and the moody sky. The atmosphere in this image rocks!!! Even though I haven't commented on your last upload, I am sure both have there own unique qualities and I am sure the other is just as nice as this one! You do your own thing and if you feel like uploading another three images of this bridge you do it!!!

I think this bridge was worthy of two posts. Something about it, the frigid surroundings, lighting etc just make for a gorgeous photo!
