I have heard that an older version of Adobe FreeHand was offered as a free CD on magazines in the UK and Ireland. I was wondering is similar offers had been made in the US? Thought some of you good folks might know. I know it's not PhotoShop, but thought some of you might keep up with other Adobe issues as well. Thanks. jon

Macromedia makes Freehand. You can download a fully functional 30 day demo from their website.

Ha! I thought it was an Adobe product. Very embarrasing. Sorry. jon

You might be thinking of Adobe Illustrator, a very similar programme to Freehand. Both have been given away in the UK in the last few months (I think :o) Baz

Search the magazine websites, find if one was giving away an older version, and then try and order the old issue from their catalogue. My personal preference is Adobe Illustrator, but the demo sucks compared to the freehand demo.
