Did I miss something... At one time, didn't this site notify someome if there was a comment posted in the galleries? Or... have I got another site in mind? Anyway, it's a very nice feature.

Yes. If someone posts a comment to one of you images, an email is sent to the email address shown in your profile.

Thanks. There was one comment on a submission of mine that didn't seem to generate an email notice. So I was just wondering. It could have been anything...? It's not that my pics garner that many comments, so every one of them is appreciated. :->

I knew if I searched long enough I would find a thread dealing with this. I used to get notification of comments by email. I don't anymore. Any reason? With about three pic's I have had 8 comments (I know not a lot, but still...) and have not gotten an email about any. Now, if someone comments on an older pic, I'll miss it. Hope you can tell me why this is happening.

Check the email address in your profile. An email is sent with every comment. It's also possible your ISP is filtering out email from Renderosity. Some see the ebots as spam and filter it out.

Thanks, I had changed my email awhile ago due to isp problems, never bothered changing it back when fixed. Since I seemed to be getting everything with my backup email addy. Hopefully changing back to the old one will fix it. Thanks for the quick reply Rcook.

... and now more than 20 years later it still doesn't work. Renderosity is still based on crapware. I get no email on a new comment on my picture. One of the most important functions for users.
