It probably a daft question but why is Poser 13 costing more than 14? Is it because its available for both windows and Mac?

Poser got rid a licensed module (cloth room) and that incurs a cost for each copy sold. Since 14 no longer has that it can be sold for less.

Ta for that. I do use the cloth room quite a bit in PP2014.

Poser 14 isn't without cloth draping. They added bullet physics for clothing. There's a bit of a learning curve on how to get things set up but once you do, the draping goes much faster than in the clothroom.

Tbe problem with the learning curve is there are no tutorials except what users here generously uploaded ( including RedPhantom, appreciate you!), and none of previously purchased items can be used as they are with new system. In addition, no new items are created for it at all. So it's really up to you if the other features are worth the upgrade for you.

I actually have a couple of items that I'm going to offer as freebies, but there's a bug with saving the clothing. Once that's fixed, I'll be able to create things.
