I have asked about this before in a different forum without getting much of useful answers, and after doing some more testing, I'm trying again.

I have 'Beautiful Bends for M4', an old DAZ product that fixes M4's bend issues via magnet deformers. And for some reason it refuses to work in P11.

The product is a replacement cr2 for M4 that has all the deformers baked in, all you do is load the product and pose. It works fine in pp2014, I even loaded one 'fixed' M4 next to a regular M4 and posed both, and I definitely saw the difference. But when I load it in P11, the deformers do nothing. I can see them listed in the parameters, but they do nothing.

I even tried saving out a 'fresh' cr2 from PP2014 to load in P11. nada. Same with making a scenefile. Nope. Could something be messing with the magnets?

Someone mentioned there was a change around that time that altered magnets from automatically working in localspace to working in worldspace by default. I've tried different settings in properties but it changes nothing.

I have tried several versions of P11 from pre-11.1 to the latest version from Bondware, makes no difference. Something broke somewhere.

There's an option on the BODY properties tab that may be affecting this. Have you tried toggling that.

Yep, already tried, made no difference

On some of the sets I've used .. Had to remove the actor number ( :1 .. :2 .. etc) from the magnet file for them to work for me in poser 11.

Consider me insane if you wish, but is your reality any better?

This isn't a magnet set tho, and no injection files, so that won't work for me.

So no one has any idea how I can get this to work?

It's a new setup—and surely a new configuration—so it doesn't know where to look, or it can't find what the CR2 is looking for.

No, no. Everything is loading just fine, the magnets are present in the figure, they just aren't doing anything. Product works just fine if I load it up in PP2014, and not if I load it in P11. Something was changed with P11 and magnets no longer work the same.

Did you open one of the magnets to see if it had the same characteristics in Poser 11 and PP2014?

I don't know how to do that. The magnets are baked into the .cr2, there is no injection file.
