Hi everyone!
Renderosity is in the process of completely revamping and streamlining the Freestuff department so as to allow you members to navigate the various sections more easily and find what you're looking for to fulfill your creative needs and wants. What I've seen is amazing and very impressive, and I believe you will be excited by the new interface once it goes live!
One of those sections covers the various software programs that many of you use, for which there are uploads from our freestuff contributors. Please do yourself a favor and take a look at the screenshot below and tell me if there are any software programs that you would like to see included in that section for freestuff contributions, such as 3DCoat and others that some of you use as part of your creative process.
Now I will open the floor for your input. Get ready, get set, GO! And thank you for your participation; YOU are what makes Renderosity a fun and exciting community for artists of all kinds!

It might be useful to have some categories for more generic formats, e.g., plain image files (JPG, PNG), OBJ files, HDRI spheres. Any of those could be used in many different programs, so if they are filed specifically for one piece of software they might get overlooked by people using different software.

I agree about .obj if it's not a pain to add such things into the list, like that format goes in plenty programs (I'm using Wings 3d, but only to modelize). Or maybe like a second option (an optional one) once we have choosen the program into the list above.
Also,I didn't use it in a long time, but there are people still using Bryce I think.

Does anyone use Bryce still or Hexagon?
I use Zbrush for modelling it's not the latest version as I don't use subscriptions on software.
What about Gimp and Painter not everyone can afford Photoshop? I do have an old version of Photoshop but I have a more recent version of Painter and would love to find brushes and other things for it here.

Very simple workflow in my case:
- galleries management using XnView
- Poser 13 & 14
- Gimp for anything related to manipulating pictures
