I just downloaded a trial version yesterday of 3DCoat and was wondering if any of you Poser users are using it to create textures? I installed it this AM and had a brief look around the interface but did not see any options for importing .obj files to paint textures on, etc., etc. It seems like there is a steep learning curve with this software.
Would love to hear about your workflow and so on. Thanks!

I have an older version of 3D coat, but TBH I haven't used it in years, ever since I switched to Substance Painter which DOES allow you to import OBJ files.
I don't recall that 3D Coat allowed you to import an OBJ file. Both 3D Coat and Substance have a similar workflow, but if you're used to working with Adobe Photoshop and using layers to build textures up, you should find Substance Painter workflow familiar.
EDIT TO ADD: Well I just did a google search and supposedly you can import OBJ files into 3D Coat.
