We are excited to announce a new way for our gallery artists to earn through their creative work: The Artist Affiliate Program. Starting today, we are integrating affiliate functionality directly into the gallery to help you monetize your influence and inspiration.

How It Works

We’ve streamlined the process to make it as seamless as possible for both creators and collectors:

• Apply First: To start earning, you must first apply to become an official affiliate. You can apply at this link.
• Automatic Tracking: Once approved, affiliate URLs will be generated in the production credits of your newly uploaded gallery images.
• Seamless Shopping: When a member of the community views your work, they can see the exact products used to create that piece.
• Earn on Every Sale: If a buyer clicks one of your attributed links and makes a purchase, you will receive up to 5% commission on that sale.

Why This Matters

This update is designed to reward the artists who drive our community’s inspiration. By sharing your process and the tools you use, you’re not just showcasing your talent—you’re providing a roadmap for others. Now, when your work sparks a purchase, you get a direct share of the value you’ve created.

if BillySue creates an image, and i click on a product under her post, but instead of impulsively purchasing it, i add it to my Wishlist, what, if anything, happens?

The product has to be purchased via clicking on the link in order for you to receive credit as an affiliate. If you have additional questions please reach out to Renderosity Support.

If I click on the "apply at this link" in the first message, I can see the page.

Too bad we can't have rewards points each $60 or more in place to be paid ;) But I guess it's something linked to law for that isn't an option.

so earning this benefit seems only to work if you can inspire someone to impulse purchase... hmm.. hope it works out for those that try this :))
