This is Carol with Eovia support. You wrote... > Dear Eovia, As of a couple of weeks ago Carrara users and Amapi users > where asked to register their products at the Eovia site. We do not send an automatic reply or acknowledgement of receipt upon receiving registration email. I myself think it's a good idea. I'll suggest this to my Webmaster and hopefully he'll think it's a good idea, too. If you've registered on-line and answered all the questions, you are eligible for updates and upgrade pricing. Registering your software is certainly a good idea as it does allow us the opportunity to keep record of your ownership. Should you lose your password key or serial number (and need it) in the future, we would have record of it and your ownership, and could easily give it to you ( without the hassles of proof of purchase etc., etc...you get the idea). As well, upgrading your software will be much easier if you're in our database. It's pretty basic, we need some sort of information to validate your ownership. > We as users have waited some what patiently for updates and news, > please keep us informed as to what is happening. We appreciate your patience. Honestly, as of late, we have nothing of news to tell. We have sent aaa..lll...ooo...tttt of email to get folks together and turn them on to Eovia and what we're doing. We have the patch for Carrara 1.0-1.01 available for download ( in case you were unaware). Info on the upcoming, updated version release of Carrara by Eovia is available on our site. It looks like the end of June or an early summer release of Carrara ( tentative). Trust me Kevin, when Carrara is ready we'll be the first to tell you about it. Until then. Thank you! Sincerely, Carol Fraccalvieri carol@eovia.com
